FOCUS is Glen, Kris,
Angie, and Dave. FOCUS has been playing in the central Minnesota area since 1988.
As a show band with a repertoire of songs from the 50's to today, FOCUS is sure
to be a hit at any party or dance. FOCUS's musical stylings range from new
country to classic rock to alternative. You can find FOCUS at one of the

Drummer and vocalist Glen Tamm (left) has been performing since 1986.
Glen
played with a variety of bands prior to FOCUS including "One For The Money" and
"Irresponsible". Glen was with "One For The Money" for over 15
years. In January 2004, after bass player Tina Jensen retired, the
band took on a new bass player and renamed themselves FOCUS.
Stemming variety from keyboards, percussion, and lead vocals, Glen lends
his comic relief to the band. His influences range from the 50's to the
90's and from country to classic rock n' roll.

since the summer of 1989. Kris hails from Clearwater, MN. Kris brought the band performance material including Classic rock
-n- roll and inspired our favorite between songs song, which really gets
the party going. That's right, the song we all know today as
the 'Team Drink'.
In April of 2001 Angie became a member of FOCUS. Formerly with
"Mary Sue England", Angie's musical talents are spectacular.
Angie brings a new flair to the band with fiddle, acoustic guitar,
keyboards, and vocals. Angie is quite modest, so we'll
brag on her behalf and tell
you that she is a five time Minnesota state junior champion
as well as the Minnesota State All-Around Fiddle champion. Angie has
also placed in the top ten in the
nationally fiddle contest.

As our most recent
addition, Dave Kvaas (left) joined us in January 2004. Contrary to the
picture, he does not play keyboards. On Bass guitar and vocals, Dave joins us after most recently
playing with "Top Notch". Hailing from St. Augusta, MN, Dave complete our
ensemble
with a phenomenal low-end and a great comedy flair (as you can see from his
picture - that's not his natural hair color). |
